Way to VIT Chennai

During my pre-university education, I aspired to join prestigious government institutions such as the NITs and IIITs , drawn by their reputation for academic excellence, world-class infrastructure, and the wide range of opportunities they offer. I was particularly motivated by the intellectually stimulating environment and the chance to learn from some of the brightest minds in the country. Consequently I started preparing for JEE mains(Entrance exam) .I sacrificed my entertainment,hobbies and prepared for 7-12 hours daily .Sometimes I get stressed I won't even study the whole day.Even I didn't spend much time with my family. After months of dedicated preparation, I appeared for the JEE Main examination. In my first attempt, I secured a percentile of 96.31, and in the second attempt, I obtained 92.9 percentile. While my best score reflected consistent effort and improvement, it was not sufficient to secure a seat in my preferred department at any of the top government institutions such as the IIITs or NITs.After that I explored options for private University and I came to know about VIT . A private University which is of top level like top government institutions. VIT has a great number of opportunities,exposure and placement record .So I decided to join VIT but I came to know that I have to clear a entrance exam VITEEE . Then I applied for that, and I got a rank of 6974 .For which I choose CSE( Data Science) at VIT Chennai Campus. 

Goals

After entering into VIT Chennai,My one main goal for my first semester is to gain as much as social exposure. My long term is to build my career in the field of data science.
